THIS WEEK ACTIVITIES AT HOME IN OUR PARISH
November 28, 2006
My Shepherd? The TV is my shepherd: I shall not want.
It maketh me to lie down on the sofa.
It leadeth me away from the scriptures.
It destroyeth my soul.
It leadeth me in the paths of immorality for the sponsors sake.
Yea, though I walk in the shadow of my responsibilities,
there will be no interruptions,
for the TV is with me.
It's cable and wireless controls, they comfort me.
It prepareth a commercial before me,
in the presence of my carnality.
It anointeth my head with humanism.
My coveting runneth over.
Surely laziness and ignorance shall follow me
all the days of my life,
And I shall dwell in the family room with my TV forever.
While the parody rings true, certainly the inventor of the television can't take all the blame! What or who is the family altar in your home?
FAREWELL SR. GUADALUPE MAGANA
Sr. Guadalupe has served our Catholic community since we were made a Parish by the Diocese in 1999. She came here from Denver to run the CCD Program for Fr. Cruz and continued to support Fr. Clarence with Hispanic Ministry. In addition to operating Holy Trinity Mission in Littlefield for the Diocese of Phoenix she was here directing our own CCD Program for 2005-06. With the growth of the Arizona Strip area, more demands are now on Sister's time and that community is now working on their own plans to build a Mission Church on land purchased by the Diocese of Phoenix. Sister will continue to work with Quinceañeras registrations and classes, and prepare couples for Hispanic Marriages from our Parish, out in Littlefield. We thank you Sister for your devotion to your vocation, continuing to develop and nurture the gifts that God has given you and for sharing those gifts with those assigned to your care and guidance through your teaching ministry.
Through the gifts of the Holy Spirit
may you find help for all the new challenges
that await you as Holy Trinity Mission
grows and prospers in the coming years.
God Bless You!

MASS INTENTIONS
The practice of offering a Mass for the living as well as the deceased is a wonderful tradition of the church. Giving the gift of a Mass is a wonderful way to celebrate a variety of occasions, (Birthdays, Anniversaries, Graduations, etc.) in the lives of your family and friends. Mass cards are available through the Religious Store that let the recipient know that their intentions will be remembered at Mass, giving the date and time for what ever occasion you choose or for healing.
